FAQ
What is The Majestic walk-in bath?
The Majestic is a walk-in bath from Bathing Solutions with an extra wide inward opening door and a low entry step. It measures 1270mm long, 660mm wide and 935mm high, and has a slip resistant finish on both the seat and the base.
How wide is the door on The Majestic?
The Majestic door is listed at 430mm or 300mm depending on the version, and is described as extra wide for a walk-in bath. It opens inwards and can be specified as left or right hand. The side is chosen at the survey to suit your bathroom layout.
What are the dimensions of The Majestic?
The Majestic is 1270mm long, 660mm wide and 935mm high, with a door width of 430mm or 300mm. At 1270mm it is shorter than a standard 1700mm bath, so it often fits in an existing bath space with room to spare. The survey confirms this.
Is The Majestic slip resistant?
Yes. The Majestic has a slip resistant finish on both the seat and the base, not only the floor of the bath. Extra grab rails are available as an option.
Can I shower in The Majestic?
A shower handset is available as a bathing option on The Majestic, so you can rinse off while seated. We do not have a full shower screen on this model, so if you want a proper bath and shower combination, The Royale is the model designed for that.
Can I add grab rails to The Majestic?
Yes. Extra grab rails are listed as an option on The Majestic. Positions are agreed during the free design and quotation visit so they suit the person using the bath, rather than being fitted to a standard layout.
Is the water temperature controlled on The Majestic?
Yes. The Majestic includes temperature control, which provides safety and comfort. This reduces the risk of scalding, which matters in a walk-in bath because you are seated inside while the bath fills rather than testing the water first.
Where is The Majestic made?
The Majestic is manufactured in the UK. It is supplied and fitted by Bathing Solutions as a complete service covering design, survey, installation, plumbing, certified electricians where required, and removal of your old bathroom. Most installations take three to five days.
Will The Majestic fit where my old bath was?
In most cases yes. At 1270mm long by 660mm wide, The Majestic is shorter than a standard UK bath, which is usually around 1700mm. The pre fit technical survey confirms the space, the door side and the pipework before anything is ordered.
