What is The Renaissance Plus walk-in bath?

The Renaissance Plus is the upgraded version of the Bathing Solutions Renaissance, with spa therapy and chromotherapy lighting fitted as standard. It shares the same body: 1210mm long, 660mm wide and 965mm high, with a 400mm wide inward opening side entry door.

What do you get with The Renaissance Plus that the standard Renaissance does not have?

Spa therapy and chromotherapy lighting come as standard on The Renaissance Plus. On the standard Renaissance, spa therapy is an optional extra and chromotherapy is not listed. Everything else, including size, door width and the dual waste, is the same across both baths.

What is chromotherapy lighting?

Chromotherapy is coloured lighting built into the bath, offered by Bathing Solutions with seven colour options and included as standard on The Renaissance Plus. It is a comfort and relaxation feature. It does not affect how easy the bath is to get in and out of.

Is The Renaissance Plus the same size as The Renaissance?

Yes. Both are 1210mm long, 660mm wide and 965mm high, with a 400mm door width. If you have already measured for the standard Renaissance, the Plus fits the same space. Left or right hand door versions are available on both models.

Does The Renaissance Plus need an electrical supply?

The spa therapy and chromotherapy systems on The Renaissance Plus are powered, so an electrical connection is needed. Bathing Solutions includes fully certified electricians in the fitted service where required, and states its work complies with Part P regulations. The surveyor confirms what your bathroom needs.

Does The Renaissance Plus have a dual waste?

Yes. Like the standard Renaissance, The Renaissance Plus has a dual waste for efficient drainage. Two outlets empty the bath more quickly than one, which shortens the time you sit waiting for the water to go down before the door can be opened.

How wide is the door on The Renaissance Plus?

The door on The Renaissance Plus is 400mm wide and opens inwards, with left or right hand versions available. It is a side entry, so you step in across a low level step rather than over the rim. The door side is agreed at the home survey.

Who is The Renaissance Plus suited to?

The Renaissance Plus suits someone who wants easier access to a bath and also wants the spa and lighting features included rather than added later. The access features match the standard Renaissance exactly, so the decision is about the extras, not about ease of entry.

What warranty applies to the spa system on The Renaissance Plus?

The Renaissance Plus is covered by the Bathing Solutions product warranty of up to 15 years. Powered and mechanical parts, including the spa system, carry shorter cover than the bath itself, and labour is covered separately. Ask for the written warranty schedule before ordering so you can see exactly what applies to each part.
