The Petite Small Walk-in Bath

FAQ

What is The Petite walk-in bath?

The Petite is the compact walk-in bath from Bathing Solutions, made for bathrooms with limited floor space. It measures 990mm long, 760mm wide and 975mm high, with a wide front opening door of 530mm. It is manufactured in the UK.

Will The Petite fit in a small bathroom?

This is what The Petite is designed for. At 990mm long it is well under the length of a standard 1700mm bath, so it frees up floor space in a tight room. Width is 760mm and height is 975mm. A surveyor checks the space first.

Where is the door on The Petite?

The Petite has a wide front opening door rather than a side entry, which suits a bath sitting in an alcove where you can only approach from the front. The door is 530mm wide and is available in left or right hand versions.

Is the door on The Petite wider than other models?

At 530mm, the front door on The Petite is wider than the doors listed on The Renaissance at 400mm and The Independence at 370mm. The Majestic lists 430mm or 300mm. If door width is your main concern, compare these figures at the survey.

What taps does The Petite come with?

The Petite is available with either lever or X head taps. Bathing Solutions states both options are fully protected with a safety temperature control system. Lever taps are usually easier to operate with limited grip strength. Taps are covered by a five year product warranty.

Does The Petite have a grab bar?

Yes. A grab bar is listed as a feature of The Petite, and additional accessories are fitted where required as part of the installation. Grab rails carry the 15 year product warranty rather than a shorter term, since they have no moving or electrical parts.

Can I have spa therapy in The Petite?

Yes. Spa therapy is listed as an available feature on The Petite. Where it needs an electrical supply, Bathing Solutions uses fully certified electricians as part of the fitted service. Spa systems have shorter warranty terms than the bath itself, so check the detail.

What is included in the fitted price of The Petite?

The Petite is quoted fully fitted. That covers free design and quotation, a pre fit technical survey, full installation, all plumbing, certified electricians where required, fitting of accessories and wall and floor coverings where needed, removal of your old bathroom, and up to 15 years warranty.

How do I find out what The Petite costs?

Bathing Solutions does not publish a price for The Petite, because the cost depends on your bathroom and the options you choose. Book a free, no obligation home survey for a fixed price, or call 0800 083 2034. A free brochure is available by post or PDF.
